Dr. Sherry Chance, Senior Consultant at Mindstream and Vice President for Nontraditional Education and Online Learning at LeTourneau University, has a passion for all things related to higher education especially issues related to student success and a healthy organizational culture. Her research was a qualitative study exploring adult learners’ perceptions regarding hybrid and online learning. Prior to joining LeTourneau University in 2017, Sherry was an Assistant Dean for Tulane University. She received her doctorate from The University of Alabama; her Master of Education from The University of Southern Mississippi; and her Bachelor of Education from The University of Alaska – Anchorage.
Sherry Chance was the recipient of the Alex Charters Research Grant in 2016. Among other notable recognitions, she was recognized as one of “Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women” by the Mississippi Business Journal in 2012 and is known for her community involvement.
